WIND ENERGY – THE FATS comes from the EWEA, a European wind association promoting the use of wind power around the world. It has over 500 members from 50 countries including manufacturers largely in control of the world wind power market, suppliers, and developers alike, and offers a new book from a project coordinated by the association. The chapters discuss technology, grid integration, wind economics and environmental impacts alike and present contributions from nine leading research bodies across Europe, making this a ‘must’ for any serious college-level collection strong in alternative energy research and resources.
